Our rooms are homely and always maintained to an excellent decorative order, we are always willing to change decoration according to residents tastes.
Our team includes a full time occupational health specialist who spends her time working with the residents to help them become involved in many different activities and be as active as they want to. As well as helping with independant living.
We organise regular outings and excursions to the shops and various places of interest.

Nutrition and diet
Rottingdean Nursing and Care Home has a purpose built commercial kitchen and a team of cooks who provide fresh, home cooked food seven days a week.
Our kitchen is able to adapt the meals to the patients requirements preparing foods that assist the nursing staff in achieving a nutritional aim whilst remaining fresh and tasty.
All of the homes meats are delivered daily from our family farm based in Hellingly, only the best cuts are served as well as fresh free range eggs.
Our home has always embraced the benefits of visits from pets that our residents adore and enjoy the company of.
The Breeds family have an interest in dogs and often bring a pet in to visit the residents. Many experts have looked at the benefit of pet visits and report that animal assisted therapy can reduce pain, anxiety, depression and fatigue in people with a range of health problems, they also provide extra company.
We fully understand that not everyone likes dogs, where we are aware of this preference we will endeavour to esnure the pets do not disturb residents.
We make every effort to make the home as environmentally friendly as possible.
Spirituality & Religion
At Rottingdean Nursing and Care Home we understand that religon or spirituality may be very important to one resident and not so important to another.
We aim to ensure that our residents can practice their Religion or spiritual practice as they would do so in their normal community with an understanding team of staff and management.
Where possible we will try to bring visiting chaplains or other representatives to them at the home.
We regularly hold Christian Holy Communion within the home.
All other faiths and spiritual interests are welcome to visit at the choice of the individual resident.
